Volunteer At The Cannabis Business Summit In Oakland

The Cannabis Business Summit and Expo will be held in Oakland, California June 12-14. Over 4,500 people are expected to attend. It will truly be one of the best events that you will ever attend if you are able to make it. The event is hosted by the National Cannabis Industry Association, who has been the voice of the cannabis industry at the national level since 2010. This is truly an event that you will not want to miss, as all of the leading entrepreneurs and industry voices will be in attendance.

The event organizers have opened up 32 slots for people that want to volunteer their time in exchange for free admission to the event. It’s a great way to not only get into the event for free, but it provides an opportunity to be a part of the magic. I have to assume that slots will fill up fast, so if this is something that you think you want to do, you need to get on the good foot asap!

The first step in the application process is familiarizing yourself with the event’s volunteer FAQs. Volunteer duties, pre-conference information (which starts on June 11), parking, lodging, vaping and smoking – answers to all of the important questions are found on the volunteer FAQ page. You need to know what is expected of you, and equally important what you get in return, so read everything listed on the page.

After reviewing the FAQs, sign up for shifts at this link here. Once completed, you will be contacted to confirm interest and finalize placement. The first volunteer orientation webinar will take place on Tuesday, June 6th at 10:30AM MST followed by another on Thursday, June 8th at 2:30PM MST. If you’re unable to attend know that everything will also be covered during each on-site pre-conference walk-thru. If you have any questions in the meantime, email events@thecannabisindustry.org.

The 32 open volunteer slots will fill up fast. As such, the longer you wait to sign up, the less likely you are to make the cut. So check out the FAQs, and get signed up as soon as possible if you think that this is something that you want to do. You will have an amazing experience, trust me!
