Citizen-lobbyists needed to ask lawmakers to support HB 110!
With Delaware’s legislative session coming to a close on June 30, Rep. Helene Keeley’s HB 110 still needs to pass the full House with a supermajority before it can head to the Senate. Tell your state representative you are part of the 61% of Delawareans that want to see the bill to regulate marijuana for adults’ use pass this session.
Please also take your advocacy a step further and connect with your lawmakers directly during Delaware Cannabis Advocacy Network’s lobby day on Thursday, June 8, 2017. You can register and learn more about our ally’s lobby day here.
If you plan to attend, be sure to look up your lawmakers, and then place a call to set up an appointment to meet with a legislator or their staff. The lobby day will kick off at 10:30 a.m., where you will undergo a short training on effective cannabis regulation talking points and tips for communicating with your lawmakers. The training will take place in the Majority Caucus Room on the first floor of Legislative Hall.
We need as many Delawareans as possible urging their lawmakers to vote yes on HB 110. You can read a summary of the bill here, and check out MPP’s legalization webpage for talking points, statistics, and information you can use to help inform your legislators.
