From GoFuckMe To GoHugMe: The Mea Culpa

Recently WeedNews reported on a marijuana activist GoFundMe account that was suspended. It is with great pleasure that I get to report that this is no longer the case.

While I was out with my wife enjoying the last of the Pacific NorthWest’s sun in a park I received an email from GoFundMe with this context:

Hi, Miguel – This campaign was incorrectly suspended by our payment processor. We have contacted our payment processor, addressed the issue, and the campaign has been reinstated.”

After that e-mail, I contacted Stacey to confirm, and she finally did with this Facebook post:

Hi Stacey,

I apologize for the trouble. Our payment processor, WePay, removed your account in error. I have reviewed this with them, and we have cleared your campaign to process payments. Your campaign is live again here:

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,

I would like to think this has happened because of WeedNews, but it’s because of you. You the reader, the smoker, the activist, the one that gives a fuck that I would like to thank you. To make a further difference, I ask you to donate or share the Stacey Theis and Cannabus Story to help continue the anti-prohibition message.
