I attended a cannabis pitch event here in Seattle; there I was given a Vuber vaporizer, here’s the review, mixed with some things to think about.
Dabbing and vaping are the same thing, just different terms like janitor and custodian, both involve high heat and some plant concentrate.
When it comes to vaporizing, laser beams don’t shoot out and burn the product for you. Instead, it’s just something getting really hot which can make for a better experience.
Before the Vuber Nova, which retails for $129.99 on the company site; I would buy vape pens which you can piece together for about 40 bucks; that is you buy the battery, chamber, element, and mouthpiece separately and are replaceable.
Piecing the vape pen like I have been doing can be pricey. I know I’m considered a high use user which means things tend to clog or burn out more commonly for you, all parts eventually break and what starts as a 40 dollar investment can be 120 in 6 months of replacing parts. The Vuber has a lifetime guarantee and will replace any broken pieces immediately.
I’ve always wanted a self-contained portable smoking unit, and the Vuber hits the spot with its sleek packaging, it screams hipster and not pothead which is good for discretion.
An Easy Bake Oven For Weed
Marijuana technology has gotten ahead while most people are still learning about the plant that hasn’t killed anyone, so some things still seem sketchy to them or wary, i.e., dabbing vs. vaping to the new and even old consumer.
Producers of these products can argue semantics, but in the end, it’s all the same; an element (titanium, steel, glass, or ceramic) gets hot, then the product is placed on it for inhalation purposes. At this high heat, if you’re burning flower, it doesn’t burn like with fire. Instead, you’re cooking the outside layers like an easy bake oven; essentially you’re decarboxylating the marijuana. In the new world of cannabis, you will hear the term decarboxylation, especially when talking about cooking with cannabis. This term essentially means you’re breaking down the plant via a high-low heat, in a vaporizer you’re slowly inhaling combustible layers like trichomes which produce a not-so-high high feeling and leaving you usable plant product for other sorts of ingestion.

The not-so-high is good maintenance dosing also known as titration. Some people don’t want to be zonked and enjoy how cannabis makes them feel while functioning; we shall call this Vitamin THC.
Concentrating With Concentrates
After owning this thing for more than a month, I finally got to use some wax and shatter with this unit, both of which it knocks it out of the park. The unit has three different heat settings, this way you can burn product to your desired effect.
You will hear the term low heat which this unit allows for it, but it is also adjustable to 450 degrees Fahrenheit if you prefer high heat hits. The heat effects the breakdown of the concentrate to different extremes giving you a different hit each time.
The unit is easy to use. It has the standard five immediate presses button for on and off and a 2-second duration press to adjust the temp. My friend, The Aging Ent, who provided the wax and shatter kept holding the button, some pens you have to press the button to maintain the heat. While taking a hit which kept adjusting the heat on him but with that said no matter how high or low the unit is set, it will give you a good hit.
Included with the unit; tweezers (which you need when loading and unloading the concentrate), a cleaning tool, an extra mouthpiece and mouthpiece screens, a dab tool, and the concentrate cup.
Overall I am pleased and plan to continue using my Vuber. If you’re looking for something to take on the road or to go camping with I recommend getting a Vuber. Unfortunately, I turned the live camera off right before we did the review; but I would like to leave you with a video of me and The Aging Ent doing dabs prior to the review talking about concentrates and dabbing.
