Strong Majority Of Michigan Voters Support Legalizing Marijuana

Michigan Coalition to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol

Michigan is home to some of the hardest working cannabis activists that I have ever fought alongside. Below is an alert that I received late last week out of Michigan. If you live there, get active (if you aren’t already) and fight to free the plant:

We’ve got some encouraging news to share. A recent poll from Local 4-Detroit News finds a strong majority of Michigan voters — 57% — support legalizing and regulating marijuana!

We have the public support we need to win in November, but with many months still ahead of us, that could change. Two opposition groups have filed to run campaigns against us, and we need your help to make sure the truth, not prohibitionist rhetoric, reaches undecided voters.

Will you pitch in with a donation to fight back against our opponents’ fear tactics and prohibitionist propaganda?

Like they always do, our opponents will do everything they can to scare voters and bring down support. At this critical point, we need your help to keep the Michigan campaign running strong.

At the federal level, Attorney General Jeff Sessions is working to slow down our progress across the country. That’s why our strategy to legalize marijuana state-by-state is so important. Every state we win further undermines Sessions’ agenda to impose federal prohibition against the will of the people.

Chip in with a donation right now —  whether it’s $5, $15, or $50 —  to give the Michigan campaign the fuel it needs to keep going strong.

Thank you for your support.
