Speakers Announced For Fundraiser Hosted By NCIA And CCIA Benefiting Community Fire Relief Efforts

donate marijuana cannabis

Earlier this week I posted an article about a fundraiser that the National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA) and the California Cannabis Industry Association (CCIA) are hosting to benefit fire victims in Northern California. Speakers have been announced for the event. I can’t say it enough, this is an extremely worthwhile event that everyone should attend if they are able to. Below is more information about the event via an e-mail I received from NCIA:

The fires that swept through northern California this month have had a devastating impact on local communities and the cannabis industry is coming together to raise funds for displaced victims of the fires at a fundraising reception on November 6 in Santa Rosa, CA. We hope that you will join us in supporting this important effort by sponsoring the event, attending, or just making a donation.

The event will be an opportunity for the cannabis industry to provide financial support for the Redwood Credit Union’s North Bay Fire Relief Fund which has been established in partnership with California State Senator Mike McGuire and The Press Democrat.

Even if you cannot attend, please consider making a donation to the fundraiser. All donation proceeds are being collected by NCIA and will be remitted to the Redwood Credit Union fund immediately following the event. Representatives of the fund will also be on hand at the event to take cash donations directly.
