South Carolina: Supporters Look To 2019 For Medical Cannabis Reform

Marijuana South Carolina

I received the following alert out of South Carolina yesterday:

The South Carolina Compassionate Care Act made significant progress this year, but unfortunately time has run out for now. Bill sponsors Sen. Tom Davis and Rep. Peter McCoy are now preparing for passage in 2019. You can help them in two ways.

First, click here to tell your senator and representative that this issue is not going away, and you expect their support in 2019.

Second, you can join lawmakers along with medical cannabis experts for an educational seminar in Columbia next Wednesday, April 18. This is a great chance to get a closer look at key aspects of workable medical marijuana programs.

Event: Compassionate SC Educational Symposium
Date: Wednesday, April 18, 2018
Time: 6 to 9 p.m.
Where: Columbia, SC

We gained an incredible amount of support this year among lawmakers, thanks in large part to your efforts. Thank you to everyone who sent messages to lawmakers in support of these bills. Those messages were heard loud and clear, and it has helped us gain momentum.

Please stay involved and help us maintain pressure by sending a message to your lawmakers now. And join us next week at the symposium!

Please pass this message to your network in South Carolina!

Sincerely,

Chris Lindsey
