Bestselling guidebook author and public TV travel host Rick Steves has been inspired by Europe’s pragmatic approach to drug abuse, with success measured by harm reduction rather than incarceration.

NORML, in cooperation with the bipartisan Congressional Cannabis Caucus, will host a discussion on marijuana policy including the issues stemming from the current tension between federal prohibition and the ever-evolving patchwork of marijuana law reforms at the state level in addition to an overview of the benefits that come with moving towards the legalization and regulation of marijuana nationwide.

The briefing will include information on pending legislative remedies available and a Q & A with Rick.

Where: 2247 Rayburn House Office Building
When: February 13th from 4:30pm – 5:00pm
Who: Rick Steves and members of the Cannabis Caucus

RSVP’s are requested but not required.

One-on-one interviews in person or on the phone with Rick Steves can be scheduled throughout Monday and Tuesday, February 12th and 13th.
