A semi truck hauling a trailer crashed into the King Seaweed medical marijuana dispensary in Detroit on Monday night.

NightCam is the online presence of Tim Pamplin, who is described as a “English reporter and cameraman… roaming the streets of Detroit.”
The medical marijuana dispensary is located on 8 Mile Road, a common truck route and an 8-lane road. The crash was reported at approx. 10:45pm; there were no store staff or customers present, per a report by CBS channel 62.
The driver had to be helped from the vehicle by onlookers and was taken to the hospital for evaluation of his injuries, according to Mike Campbell of 950AM WWJ. He posted this photo to Twitter:
An off-duty police officer helped the driver from his rig, Pamplin wrote for WDIV Channel 4 News. King Seaweed is located between Dequindre and Ryan Roads on the city’s north side.
