Cupcakes are one of the most popular sweet treats that people can make. They are good for celebrations or for just about any occasion. Have you ever consumed a cupcake and it didn’t make you happy? The answer to that question is likely a resounding no. I know that is definitely the case for me!
One way to make ordinary cupcakes into extraordinary ones is to add cannabis to them. Below is a recipe for cannabis-infused chocolate cupcakes that can be topped with cannabis-infused frosting (recipe for the cannabis-infused chocolate frosting is here):
Beat the following ingredients until the mixture is thick:
1 lb. sugar (2 cups)
7 oz brown sugar (1 cup)
Add slowly the following ingredients to emulsify:
2 cups of melted cannabis butter
2 cups milk (room temperature or slightly warm)
Sift the following ingredients and then add them to the above mixture:
1 lb. AP or Cake Flour
4 oz cocoa powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp table salt
Melt 4 oz of unsweetened chocolate and add it to the above mixture. Mix it all together thoroughly for 2 minutes. Pour the mixture into a cupcake pan lined with cupcake papers/tins. Bake in the oven at 350ºF for 10 minutes. After they are cooled off apply the previously mentioned cannabis-infused chocolate frosting to the tops if desired. Enjoy!
