Below is a bulletin that was sent out by the City of Denver, as featured in the Marijuana Moment newsletter:

On March 7, experts from Denver Excise and Licenses, Community Planning and Development, Denver Fire Department, and the Department of Public Health and Environment will host a forum on licensing, permitting, and inspections for the marijuana industry.

Join us!
We’ll walk through requirements for new and expanding marijuana stores, centers, and grows, and answer questions on making changes, like transferring ownership, moving a point-of-sale location, and adding security systems. We’ll discuss green roofs, the best way to prepare for inspections, new online ways to apply for permits, and what comes first, the license or the permit. Hear advice and tips from the experts, and bring your questions.

WHEN: Wednesday, March 7 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.

  • 5 pm: A joint presentation covering licensing, zoning, building, fire, environmental quality, health, and inspections
  • 6 pm: We’ll open the floor for Q&A

WHERE: The Denver Post building auditorium (101 W. Colfax Ave – Denver, CO 80202)

All are welcome but please help us plan ahead: RSVP by Tuesday, March 6 to CPDCommunications@denvergov.org.
