4th Annual Croptoberfest

Croptober is about to end which marks the beginning of fall in the NorthWest. For a lot of people, it means festival season is over but I say wait, there’s more. There one more chance to celebrate and be educated on cannabis, that’s Croptoberfest.

Held on November 4th in Zillah, Wa this will be the 4th Annual fest. A hybrid cannabis trade show and education event.

This year there will be over five hours of panels solely on cannabis cultivation, along with representatives from the Washington State Department of Agriculture on each panel.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Dominic Corva, Executive Director of The Center for the Study of Cannabis and Social Policy, and the featured speaker will be Farmer Tom Lauerman, founder of Farmer Tom Certified Farms, and the only federally recognized organic cannabis farmer.

For the schedule of the day, you can go here or you can visit their page, Croptoberfest.  Tickets start at $25 per person, but you will want to splurge and go for the VIP package where you will receive a special invitation to a hemp-infused dinner for the night of the 3rd along with VIP access for the day of the event. You can find the tickets at Ticketbud.

If you are a current industry member you can contact Jedidiah Haney at jedidiah.l.haney@gmail.com PM him on Facebook for the discount code. Also, there’s still time to be a sponsor and you can contact him the same way for the discount codes.

I hope to see you there, I hope to attend with a photographer to follow up with another article about another wonderful event where people gather in the name of a plant. Until then, here’s a promotional video made last year for Croptoberfest.
